Biggest disappointment: Cleveland.


Predictions for 2nd half:

Spurs gonna go rape mode

Warriors gonna cool off

Raptors going to start sucking until they trade Terrence Ross

Kyle Korver is going to cool off a bit

The Hawks are certainly the biggest surprise. Didn't think GS would be THIS good. Stan the Man dropping Smith and the Pistons going streaking . Didn't think the Spurs would have their struggles. Didn't think Bron would come out like a senior in HS who already had college locked up.

Predictions:
Cleveland goes on a run. Spurs go on a run. OKC goes on a run. Pistons streak all the way to a top 6 seed ( blatant homerism). ATL and GS cool off but stay at or near the top.

If Cleveland goes on a stupid run and he puts up big numbers Bron is right back in the MVP convo. As of right now I think you would have to give it to Steph.

Yea, Golden State is something else. Atlanta is more surprising but you gotta take your hat off to what the warriors have done. I've been waiting on OKC to go on that run for a bout a month now.. and i still expect them to. Same with the Spurs. I think they'll catch LAC but I dunno if the clips or the other west teams above em (like Dallas for example) will lose enough for OKC to get more than an 8th seed.

I feel the same about the Pistons, clearly they can catch Miami but iirc the standings, it might be tough for them to make that much more ground unless the bucks hit a very rough spot.

My biggest surprise is how the bulls defense has fallen off.If they had the defense from the last 4 seasons on this years squad they'd be wrecking shop through the whole league.Now I don't even know if they can beat lottery teams at home

Noahs value to this team is underestimated bulls need him healthy by spring.

If you told me Gasol would be a rejuvenated '09 version of himself and that DRose would still be playing well into January and showing flashes of his old self.. and that Jimmy Butler would be a 20 point scorer... lol, I'd have figured the Bulls to be a 60+ win team and title favorites. But that inability to guard the pick n pop/roll has been killing them against contending teams.

It seems like team ball is coming back with force this year, like the Spurs gave everybody hope that they to can just run a system and style on you without a bonafide prime superstar.

Hell these boys are on a 12 game win streak and shyt looks weak in the arena right now.

Don't get me wrong, us die hard NBA fans love watching them play this team ball but that only is marketable if u have some type of stars on ur team ala SA (and they even struggle with marketability).
