Gary V runs one of the most successful newer advertising agencies in the world and according to my girlfriend, who works in the advertising world at a high level, they work you to death at his agency and it’s mostly young gen Z kids willing to bust their ass for not as many perks as the other big time agencies. So essentially his hustle culture ideology exists fully in reality through his business.
More than likely he has just chosen to promote less.
Gary V promoting hustle culture was also a hustle. It was him building a brand by promoting hustle.
