This is a classic Action/Sci-Fi film to me btw but I've never determined if all that shyt really happened to Quaid or not...

Like everything based on a PKD work (loosely or not) you gotta just assume it was a dream, the character was on a crazy trip, they were going mad or all of the above. The dude loved his speed and psychoactives.
I know 2049 kinda clouds it a bit? But Deckard in BR was also 100% a replicant.

It’s really only Ridley Scott’s 17th director’s cut or whatever that implies heavily he’s a replicant. Seeing a bunch of different versions first, and I never felt he was one![]()
It marks the first time I've gone against the word of the creator.I always felt the last line confirmed it was a dream.

Yeah I’m pretty sure blade runner 2047 confirms Deckard was human as well.Same. What's got me fukked up though is that Ridley Scott has said in interviews that Deckard is a replicant even after he, Harrison and Rutger (RIP) have stated that he wasn't before. It marks the first time I've gone against the word of the creator.
YOU THINK IM THE REAL QUAID?!!!Yeah maybe.. I gotta watch it again soon it's one of my favorite movies from that era![]()
I always felt the last line confirmed it was a dream.
I dunno man the whole thing went exactly as he wanted for his Egotrip.I felt that it was real. Think about it, if you're in a dream, are you actually going to ask yourself if you're dreaming or not? Unless you're that conscious of a dreamer, I don't see how that's possible.
