We were young as hell. I just thought he was a dikkhead back then. I'm sure he grew up like we all did and became an entirely different person.
I imagine being on a hit album by a superstar would gas up most kids lol.
It was probably close to 5 years ago that I was in touch with him but seemed to be a humble brother and spoke highly of by who connected me with him. Iirc he was getting ready to take Shahada at the time or in the process.

You from round the way? You know Paris and Stretch and YooYoo and all them nikkas? Roscoe, Pooda and Dan O?
Nah im not from NY, we got in contact with him to do some drops for a Pac tribute tape Gonzoe (rest in paradise) that never ended up coming out (thats a whole other story though) was putting together. Real humble dude with some cool stories, it was a process getting in touch with him though, seems to keep a pretty low profile, Mutah eventually linked us someones contact that was able to put us in touch with him and a couple other ppl. When im really thinking back it was probably actually more like 7 or 8 years ago, crazy how time flys. A lot of ppl from that time no longer here.

Oh, he was wild gassed. And it would be shyt like a bunch of us would be hooping at the courts across from Jackie Robinson projects and he would walk out there with jewels on and shyt, young as hell, screwface on, talking mad shyt. And you couldn't check him, because he was connected to older nikkas who would bust your shyt open. Really, I ain't know him like that, and this is based off like 3 times of observing son, and I wasn't that much older than him so you know how that goes, everyone was sizing everyone else up and kind of wanting to snuff the next man if they felt disrespect. That part of Harlem is still super funky, the gentrification aint really do shyt but make East 125-130 worse. Almost all the nikkas I came up with moved, got killed, or were part of that drug crew that got locked up a few years back. Last time I was back it felt unsafe even for me, and I been walking those streets since I was 7.

In any case, bless up to Pharaoh. I wish him peace and goodwill.
