So what's the consensus on Jay's Dynasty album?

I used to consider this album a dud but it's pretty damn good when I look at how much piff is on there. I miss this era

Dynasty Intro. That's about it. Without the financial success, Jay's catalogue is type wack, unless you are a hardcore Jay fan.

Dude has the singles NO DOUBT, but his albums come down to a couple of hot singles supporting filler material. I am not a big Jay Z fan, and I noticed 7/10 times the singles are the best songs on the album.

Compared to Biggie, I noticed, even though I am not a Biggie fan, most of the time the non-singles are the songs that I like. Or the "street single."

It's hard to judge because it's a group album yet we attempt to grade on the same curve as every other solo Jay album. I gotta revisit but it wasn't wack or great before.
