So which company does TSC think will be in that No. 2 spot one year from now?

Which wrestling promotion will be No. 2 one year from now?

While the E struggles to deliver a Wrestlemania anyone cares about, other promotions seem to do great business and increase in popularity. TNA Impact is rebuilding, Lucha Underground is steadily increasing viewers, NJPW is slowly starting to cross the ocean, NXT might become its own entity soon while ROH rides the wave of being a building ground for a lot of talent.

So with all this competition, who's gonna end up on top, and why?

That's like asking who's gonna be the 2nd best rapper out of Jay Z and all his cousins. #2 is still gonna be miles and miles away from #1

NXT? :dahell:

Anyway tho, GFW:win:

If it goes separate and gets a push that WWE connection could push it skyward real fast. Lucha Underground debuted in October to 28,000 viewers and in February ratings hit 150,000. That's a huge increase for a new show and a showcase of how much room for growth there is for wrestling promotions.

And I'm going with Lucha for that reason. The show is already increasing greatly in viewers and they've only just started adding some really major names with Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio. Add that the quality is just impeccable and the show'll have legs for a long time.

I'm saying if they branch it off and it gets a separate tv-deal, where it would have to compete with shows like LU and TNA directly. You know, pretty much what all the recent rumors have been hinting at.

In terms of brand recognition the field isn't all that open. In North America/ Europe the E and TNA will probably always be 1 & 2 because of shared language and budget.

In terms of in-ring product, NJPW has already delivered matches better than WWE has managed this year. The Triple Threat match at the Rumble was cool, but it's not seeing Nakamura v Ibushi. (I can't really speak on LU because I've only caught the odd show, but I've enjoyed them when I have)

The main roster wishes they had one storyline leading into Mania that was as :blessed: as the build-up and execution of Zayn v Owens.

The talent swaps that ROH/NJPW/NOAH/AAA/LU have going on in is interesting though. So many ill potential match-ups :ohlawd:

Probably still TNA, cause I dont think NXT will be viewed as a seperate number 2

But I do think the gap between number 2 and 3,4 and 5 will be closed in with NJPW, Lucha and RoH

If GFW gets a TV deal on Spike or WGN, then it's them as they'll have an audience reach bigger any of the other #2 companies. If GFW doesn't get a TV deal, then it's TNA. Lucha Underground is improving steadily like @TheGodling said though.
