I've seen these in ads and what not....but the first people I saw IRL were trendy Japanese dudes in Shinjuku Tokyo a few weeks ago.

This transracial thing...or elements of it... are really picking up steam...

The afros....ass and hip implants....lip injections....tanning...hip hop...now dashikis.....



Maybe we as black people should start being corny, have no rhythm, cook bland food, and shoot up movie theaters?

dashiki's came to the West in the 60s and 70s, when African Americans were establishing a sense of Black pride during the civil rights struggle. black celebrities wore them on TV...they had a purpose.
