I think Penn St. will be better than people expect, but I don't know if that's a sleeper.

Texas Tech if Kingsbury doesn't messed with the defense.

North Carolina can make a run if they get past South Carolina in the opener.

duke. they arent going to be world beaters or anything, but with that schedule and 17 returning starters from a fairly decent team last year i think they can get 8 or 9 wins. they might start 6-0 heading into a road trip to virginia

Be very honest friendo, miami has been next for 9 years, and i'm asking because i dont KNOW

have they made strides that could logically come to fruition this year? Like recruits becoming upperclassmen?

Yes...

We were extremely young last year. SR QB in Stephen Morris, big experienced OLine outside of Bama on paper idk who you'd consider better. Duke Johnson at RB was great last year. Now with another spring and added weight he should be better to be a every down back. WR core is now finally back to Miami standards.

Entire season hinges on the defense :lupe: Its where we played most of the freshman and sophomores. Its still youth but now its much more talented than say 3 years ago when Golden arrived. If they can manage just a Top 50 defense there's no doubt Miami wins 9-10 games.

ACC is weak, VT is :dead: FSU and Clemson will knock each other out of national contention. UNC will be good and the rest of the league is :trash:

our offense next year is going to be the best at the U since the glory days of the early 2000's, got stars at every position

our defense was complete azz last season (116th in the nation), it depends on how much better they get, because they can not get any worse

if the D can get to even respectable levels, we're looking at 10-2 type season or beter, if its still trash we'll be around 8-4 or 9-3.
