My fellow Spurs brethren were getting on me because I said OKC clearly proved they were the better team in the WCFs last year and the Spurs aren't seeing them this year.

But that was before the Harden trade. I think they may have fell below the Spurs now. I don't think Kevin Martin's scoring ability can make up for everything Harden brought to the table. Getting Maynor back was a plus though.

Who else is there? Don't think the Clips or Grizz are there. I did hear some grumblings about some team in L.A. or somewhere that has a :flabbynsick: backcourt and Al Roker as their coach. I can't remember their name though.

The Spurs are returning an elite team. They didn't get better personnel wise, but they know their system and roles and Pop said they had the best training camp he's ever seen as coach there. And Kawhi should improve in his 2nd season. They got a strong shot to take the west.

I feel you. I honestly can't see beating the Heat. You don't think we can make it out of the west though?

I think so and I think it won't even come down to how well the big 3 plays. If we can get continued development from Leonard and Splitter, I think we can make it out the west against LA. Whoever the Lakers (assuming we meet them at some point in the playoffs) match on TP is going to get roasted I tell you that much

I think the only problem they'll have is with Lakers (it they ever get it together) just cuz they have no answer for their frontcourt
