I finally had a chance to look up the numbers of Ross's and Jeezy's last albums... and here they are as of this PAST week:
34 DEF 33 33 34 ROSS*RICK GOD FORGIVES I DON'T 2.132 -9 2.350 524.371
66 DEF 47 44 44 YOUNG JEEZY TM 103: HUSTLERZ AMBITION 1.310 -6 1.388 686.010
At this rate, Ross will NEVER catch up to Jeezy... unless he can sell this same rate for the next 3 years.
Despite Ross having the bigger anticipation for his album, the more popular crew, and the more placements on popular records... he just can't seem to outsell Mr. Jenkins.
And for the record, R.I.P., a mixtape track, placed higher than ANY single off of GFID and was only ONE place behind Stay Schemin', one of the most popular singles of the first half of 2012.
So what's the issue here? Why can't Ross do better than Jeezy despite the opinion of many that he had the better album?
