Guy was part of the largest Slave Revolt in the history of the US. Seminoles (I am a Florida State fan for life now)

Was the only Blacks to fight off 10 Generals for DECADES. The US government could NOT defeat them.

I also feel they secured the freedom of all of us by earning their freedom via the 1st Emancipation declared by General Jesup. This put a crack in the foundations of slavery & later lead to Lincoln's Emancipation later.
