I had very low expectations for the flick because of the bad reviews it was getting. It was a solid movie to me displaying the struggle between father and son.
I didn't think it was horrible, Jaden was acting like a 14 year old kid which he is
I think most people wanted Will to be the hero and fighting all these creatures but instead he's out of commission for most of the movie.

Watched it last weekend and felt the same way. This film got unnecessary hate I think only b/c Shamalamadingdong's name was attached to it. Jaden was a little irritating at first but he handled his shyt like a G once he started adapting to his situation and was a cold piece of work when he started ghosting.
