People seem to be hyping this up but I wouldnt be surprised if they went to just to do the same thing they do every year...basically paying too much to go nowhere.

edit: knicks fans coming in here with the negs lol its just a question

Can't go anywhere but up. Derrick Rose had a great March/April last season. He shot like 50% from the field. Hopefully he can build on that for next season. He and Melo should coexist well, I can see some in and out action between them. I just gotta see how Hornacek will coach this team though. He was aight in Phoenix but this is NY.

The smart money to me is on yeah. Melo is going to be motivated after not making the playoffs 3 years in a row. D-Rose is going to be motivated to prove something to the Bulls and cause he wants another big contract and Kristaps is going to take a leap next season I believe. And they have some money and will more than likely sign someone though it shouldn't be Noah or Dwight for the money they will probably command. I would start Porzingis at center with Melo at power forward and try to find a 3 and D small forward (Nicholas Batum) and just try to be an uptempo team though they still would need another rebounder or two off the bench. Then I would try to find someone out there to sign or possibly trade for to play shooting guard. But either way I think the Knicks win at least 40 games next season and that should be enough to slide in there.

Depending on how they fill out the rest of their roster, I can definitely see them making noise in the East next season. Rose/Melo/Porzingis is a great starting point to build towards being a contender. They'll end up having a top-10 offense and make the playoffs if they can remain healthy. Looking forward to Rose finding himself again too.
