Rose was one of the worst starting PG's last season. No disrespect or anything, that's just a fact. I have no idea why everyone expects him to turn it around after 4 years of being terrible in the pressure cooker that is NY?

He can still score, everyone knows that but he's not much of a playmaker or floor general. This isn't Nash or CP3 teaming up with Melo & KP it's an inefficient scoring PG who's best days are behind him.
That's true but we had the worst starting pg in the nba. And we still got time to find a PF since kp playing 5. :yeshrug:

Rose was balling after the asb break tho and since he is the number 3 option. I expect better play and less injury due to a much smaller load offensively. :stopitslime:

What do you mean by noise? What is noise for the Knicks at this point? Playing for the 8th seed? Melo and Rose have what...one good knee?

I am happy as my fellow knicks fans are, but we have a long way to go. Porzingis is really going to be the key here because he is the future of this franchise.
Like I said - it's all dependent on how they fill out the rest of their roster. At this point there's no immediate concerns with Rose's knee and there hasn't been for some time. Apart from a elbow contusion and a groin strain he was healthy last season. Rose/Melo/Porzingis is as good as any core in the East - you basically have elite talent in the backcourt, on the wing and in the frontcourt. It's a great starting point.
