Some things they still don't charge me taxes on. And if I select a seller other than Amazon, they still give me the item tax free. Last year I ordered some turntables and when I got to checkout Amazon had tacked on 30 dollars in taxes. I went back to the listing and selected a different seller with free shipping and there were no taxes. So I didn't get my two day prime shipping on that item, but I got it for 30 dollars cheaper. I do this all the time. Pair that with the selection of tv shows and movies I get from the streaming portion of prime and hey.....I'm not complaining.

There are SEVERAL

They have no respect for workers lunch breaks:

Pushing people to their physical limit and until recently they had NO AIR CONDITIONING:

There are much more...they want to keep a high number of temps at all costs. They have instituted "random" drug tests once full-time regular employee numbers were a bit too high for their liking, but you will not find that information online, but trust me...I had to keep my mouth shut when it was being cooked.

Letting people come in to work sometimes from an hour away and leave them standing outside (sometimes in cold weather) and forcing Security to tell them to leave the premises even if they have no ride. They have to leave the property or else police might be called if they feel like it because its "private property"

I still shop there from time to time, but to have loyal support? Nah, fukk that. They don't deserve that...no business does either.

I've heard some bad shyt about Newegg as well BTW. My experience there helped me move up, but that culture in there is TOXIC.

They only charge sales tax if Amazon has a physical presence (warehouse, distribution center) in your state. I'm not complaining though.... I order random stuff off Amazon before I go to bed and it's sitting on my porch waiting for me the next day when I get home from work.... and that's with 2 day shipping....

They caught on to my scam. Got an email saying my subscription was expiring and they needed to verify it for renewal. I took a picture of my old student id hoping it would work. Haven't been to school in a few years. Gotta wait on them. All these recent price increases plus tax now has me pissed at Amazon. Not trying to double to the regular prime rate of $99.
