So with Satellite data being a thing...phone manufacturers soon to be carriers?

I mean....what's stopping Apple from sending up a Satellite? Hence, providing service for Apple devices.

Then I I guess Samsung would follow suit and be a carrier as well.

Guess Verizon/Att/tmobile will have to make their own phones or buy smaller manufacturers to compete.

Doubt government will block apple as traditional carriers could buy Blu or Motorola etc. now, government may mandate apple don't lock to their service....but Apple could undercut major carrier prices or match mvno prices.

Things are about to get interesting, imo....
