A couple of extra P in first year titles :mjlol:

Microsoft brings free Games with Gold to Xbox One, drops Gold paywall for apps in June | Polygon
Microsoft's Games with Gold program will be available for Xbox One in June, while current Xbox Live Gold subscribers will receive an extra free game and additional discounts, head of Xbox Phil Spencer announced today.

Games with Gold is a program that gifts two free games a month to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. The Xbox One edition of the program kicks off with Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault. Deals with Gold also launches in June and will save members money on Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome "and a few other surprises." The announcement adds that members will now have "subscription-based access" to these games; this suggests that the service will function more like Sony's PlayStation Plus program.

"In the coming months, we will offer significant savings of up to 50 - 75 percent off certain titles," Spencer wrote. "This program will continue to be available for Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox 360. And new on Xbox One, we will launch a virtual VIP room exclusive to Xbox Live Gold members where we will feature free games, monthly deals, and other great benefits."

One membership is valid for both the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

In honor of the program's one-year anniversary, Xbox 360 owners can pick up an extra game in June — Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition — in addition to Dark Souls and Charlie Murder.

Spencer added that in June, Xbox owners will have access to "popular entertainment experiences" with or without a Gold subscription.

"This includes great gaming apps like Machinima, Twitch and Upload, popular video services like Netflix, Univision Deportes, GoPro, Red Bull TV and HBO GO, sports experiences like the NFL app for Xbox One, MLB.TV, NBA Game Time, NHL Game Center and more," Spencer wrote. "Microsoft experiences including Internet Explorer, Skype, OneDrive and OneGuide will also be available to all Xbox customers."

Earlier today, rumors surfaced that Microsoft was planning to remove its paywall for streaming media such as Netflix and Hulu.

Microsoft announced today that it will sell a Kinect-less version of the Xbox One, available June 9, for $399.

Xbots game plan is similar to the republican tea party. Throw anything at the wall and see what sticks.

Say bruh, remember when I mentioned how you might be a lil insecure?
This is what your reply was in that thread...
this man is calling someone insecure when he puts up every update and every possible change to hype of the Xbox....Who is more insecure again?! I think the coli knows
Now here you are, crying. But you not really saying anything. Please bruh, actually partake in the threads discussion. Unbunch those panties bruh...
Those specifications as of today do stand out :whoo:
But if we are going the spec route, then what about the XB1 specs that have still yet to come into play?
Direct X.12
DirectX 12 could end Xbox One resolution woes, suggests Stardock CEO - VideoGamer.com
xbox_one11111111111111.jpg

DirectX 12 for Xbox One will make it easier for developers to run games in higher resolutions and with more detail, Stardock founder and CEO Brad Wardell has said.

Posting on Twitter, Wardell wrote: "One way to look at the XBox One with DirectX 11 is it has 8 cores but only 1 of them does dx work. With dx12, all 8 do."

Another Twitter user argues that Xbox One already does this, but Wardell says this isn't the case.

"I'm sorry but you're totally wrong on that front," he responded before adding, "XBO is very low on overhead. Overhead is not the problem. It is that the XBO isn't splitting DX tasks across the 8 cores."

Asked on Twitter how DX12 will benefit Xbox One games, Wardell replied: "I think it'll make it easier to have games run at higher resolution and have more objects on screen at once."

How does the Xbox One render such attractive videogames? The secret, it seems, is something called "tiled resources."

While we won't bore you with all of the technical details, the idea behind tiled resources is pretty simple. Basically, a bit of code instructs your gaming console to render more detail in areas that your character is focusing on, while shedding detail in areas of the game that you can't immediately see. If it helps you to imagine things, think about how your eye works. You can see very clearly directly in front of you, but things in your peripheral vision are blurred and slightly unrecognizable, at least until you avert your gaze and suddenly items that were previously blurry take on all sorts of neat details. Tiled resources reportedly simulates this within a virtual world, freeing up resources for the system to use on other tasks.

"The motivation for doing something like this is to enable you to make games with unprecedented amounts of detail," said Antoine Leblond, vice president of Microsoft's Windows division, at today's Build conference.

This idea, while not completely novel - Mipmapping is a graphics trick that relies on the same principles - is so promising that not only has Microsoft included it in the Xbox One, but it's also a highly-touted feature of the Windows 8.1 operating system.

Of course, none of this fancy technology means a thing if developers don't take advantage of it, but since the Xbox One has yet to make its retail debut those games makers have plenty of time to figure out the console's technological feature set. More crucially, we should be praying that they can build fun, entertaining games, but that's all subjective so instead let's focus on tangibles, like "tiled resources" .

And finally the Xbox One Esram that has never been used like it is in the XB1
If you ask a sony fanboy, they actually said it couldn't help :what:
Not sure how they would be qualified to say it couldn't (along with Cloud computations) but they sure did cry/lie and say its not a factor. Well lets peep this brand new article on this subject :ahh:
Crytek Shares Secrets of Using Xbox One eSRAM’s Full Potential, Resulted In ‘Big’ Bandwidth Saves
Crytek’s Sean Tracy talks about how the Ryse dev team took advantage of the Xbox One.

The increased power that the Xbox One and PS4 offer over the previous generation of consoles has been as hot a topic now as it was when both consoles launched. However, it’s been observed that the Xbox One falls ever so slightly (at best) behind the PS4 in many frame rate tests, not including the lack of 1080p titles compared to Sony’s console.

Many developers have attributed this to the console’s eSRAM. Crytek has more than its share of experience with the same having developed Ryse: Son of Rome, which is one of the best looking launch titles for either console till date. GamingBolt spoke to Crytek’s US Engine Business Development Manager Sean Tracy about the advantages of using CryEngine when used with tiled textures since eSRAM is more suited for the latter.

“CryEngine has a unique and novel solution for this and was shipped with Ryse. One of the problems when using Deferred Shading is that it’s very heavy on bandwidth usage/memory traffic. This gets exponentially worse as overlapping lights cause considerable amounts of redundant read and write operations. In Ryse our graphics engineers created a system called tiled shading to take advantage of the Xbox One,” Sean explained.

“This splits the screen into tiles and generates a list of all the lights effective each title using a compute shader. It then cull’s light by min/max extents of the tile. We then loop over the light list for each tile and apply shading.

Ultimately this resulted into bandwidth gains and they were able to use just a single compute shader for culling and lighting, which is simply phenomenal. “In practice this made for the biggest bandwidth save we could have hoped for, as just reading the Gbuffer once and writing shading results once at the end for each pixel. Only a single compute shader was used in Ryse for light culling and executing entire lighting and shading pipelines (with some small exceptions for complex surfaces like skin and hair).”
See, instead of posting up specs YOU don't even understand. I got real specs with explanations so you guys can't front.
But I expect you to anyway. Just like you act as if you got games for 2014 :laff:
We talking about games breh not a paywall Games Breh We talking about Games Breh.
Oh we are now :russ: Ok, name 3 PS4 exclusives that are CONFIRMED for 2014 that you really want

I'm sorry, but the "masses" is what you said? Bruh, masses = sheep
Its ok you just told on yourself, you don't think for yourself :ufury2:

Superior tech and exclusives sound like some decent advantages to me.
The PS3 was inferior but because the sony fanboys said it wasn't true.
Most of last gen, even IGN and places like that said the PS3 was more powerful
Thats a scary thing, when fanboys shemotions can dictate the truth to the masses

Right now, the PS4 is more powerful. But the XB1 is designed to not only increase in power via the cloud
But it also has features in it, that are not ready to be used yet. Which I just went into in great detail
Now a "fanboy" on the sony side will ignore all those features to make themselves feel better about life
Once all this stuff is applied, the advantage will be in XB1's favor. It wont' happen tomorrow
But it will happen in 2015. Microsoft has said this since day one, too many people have ignored it even tho I have posted the info for all to see

Hopefully some of you will see what is actually coming. Cuz Xbox/Microsoft has not hidden anything in regards to these topics. Tru Story :win:
