You and ur nikka drunk one night robbed some nikka that works in burger king who was depositing his check with a bb gun.

You get arrested the next day

You are convicted by a jury of your peers for armed robbery and sentenced to 13 years in prison.

Your Lawyer files an appeals and you file and are released on bond and you go home.

Your appeals fail and you notice nobody came to arrest you.

Your Lawyer goes to court one day on your behalf, and apparently the A.D.A. for your case says that you are already in prison. The Lawyer insist that you are free on bond but the A.D.A don't believe it.

Your Lawyer tells you what has happened
:ohhh:.

Now you have two options

1) You turn yourself in and serve your sentence. and you are free in 2026 with the chance of parol in 2019

OR

2) These nikkas fukked up, fukk I look like snitchin on myself :childplease:. I'm living life on the straight and narrow. But I'm going to be shook everytime :sadcam: I hear loud noises in my house, thinking that it is the State coming to get me for what I owe.

If You picked Option 2

NOW DO YOU THINK MIKE ANDERSON SHOULD SERVE HIS PRISON SENTENCE DUE TO THE LEGAL SYSTEM'S OWN CLERICAL ERROR.

Awww man damn that messed up. But the nikka should have moved somewhere far far away and lived off the radar just off the strength of the mistake . Also are there statue of limitations on armed robbery charges tho? Shouldn't that shyt come into play somehow.

Yeah, I saw this story.
What a weird situation.

I don't know what justice is given by forcing him to serve the time now.
Even the victim doesn't want him prosecuted.

Statute of Limitations only apply if you haven't be charged,

Hypo For example if you robbed somebody five years ago in 2009, and were never arrested. and the statute of limitations for robbery is 4 years. The State can't bring a robbery charge against you

Dude was convicted so the statute of limitations don't apply.

On the one hand......he was convicted of the crime so as it stands he HAS to start the initial punishment, even with the late start :yeshrug:

But on the other hand....if the higher-ups have ANY kind of soul at all, they will either clear up whatever paperwork they have to release him.....or at least shorten the fukk out of the initial sentence now that he's in there.

I also understand that they don't want to set the wrong precedent in a unique situation like this, by just refusing to carry out his sentence after realizing the error. But dude has been living right since then. Even the victim is saying to let him be free. If they have to still lock him up for whatever legal reasons, then give him a few months/no more than a year, then release him for good behavior or some shyt
