I'd totally be stanning the Sounders if I was a new soccer fan. Hell I'm an old one and I follow them.

I know people hate the MLS but try telling that to the 40,000 Sounder fans at the game. People thought it was a trend and that soccer would fade here. It's only gotten stronger each year.

It's ok to be a closet Sounder fan. Best run organization in the league hands down.

Support your local team first and for most. If Philly is the closest franchise then I'd rock with them... They are in transition. The team is terrible right now because they basically have a bunch of expensive players(by MLS standards)that play like shyte together. Their manager just got the ax(fired) and are near the bottom of the table in the eastern conference. Good time to jump in.

Yeah, I think that call-up destroyed his and Will Bruin's confidence because they didn't hit shyte for the rest of their seasons. MacInerney's lack of form and (allegedly) his internal beef with management got him shipped to Montreal... which kinda ended up a bad decision looking back, but he was becoming toxic.

The reason why the Union aren't winning is because they aren't finishing their chances. They create plenty. I still have hope for the team. It isn't like they're getting blown out. Most of their matches are 1-0, 2-1 or 3-2..... Always a one goal difference.

Cats are dissin' the MLS but a new soccer/football fan won't be able to tell to differences between the top leagues and middle of the pack leagues outside of the the stadiums and crowds- maybe.
