edit: It's not that social media has taken emotion out of things, this is just the old "telephone" game where someone sees something, tells someone else, embellishments are added on, and in the end, what was originally told (or seen) has morphed into something ugly, like a meme to enforce prejudices. :smh:

But you right, I've gone out with a group of people who spent more time Checking In, Liking each other's status, taking pics of each other and their food then then did actually eating and enjoying each other's company.

I'm convinced that some people do stuff soley because they think it would look cool if they posted it on FB, IG, or twitter...
