Ask yourself this. How many lives have been lost or ruined by social media?

We complain about privacy when we willingly spy on each other and reveal too much about our lives every day.

A lot. But I dont see the correlation with TV. They might as well have said TV ruined everything.

The type of people who didnt know how to send an email 10 years ago or watch TV all day when they come home from work all are regular internet users now.

That's all that's changed imo.

TV feeds off of social media. People get a lot of their news from social media so TV is playing catch up and/or adapting to social media.

You see news stories getting put out without properly being vetted because of how fast social media puts out stories.

Bwahahaha. That's what it is, the gatekeepers at the NY Times, CNN, MSNBC, FOX, are good and honest brokers who we can trust to tell us what is real and what is not!

N-E-V-E-R. A constitutional republic requires that its constituents be involved in the democratic process. It is laughable to have these news organizations give a signal that the news is 'good' and not 'fake'. We the people determine that not them.
