As cutthroat as most industries with major companies.
Every decision is made in order to maximize the well being of the company not the people in the company.
Too many people are too stupid though, what the hell would you expect from multinational conglomerates?
Sympathy? Comfort?
The difference from the streets would be that they won't ever do anything to you physically.
But they will throw you in the bushes if you don't deliver, they'll do it in a p*ssy way though since real dudes/broads are underrepresented among the decision makers.
