:lupe: Like I had been sitting in my car hot boxing ,getting my mind right with the lord on this Sunday evening and listening to a lil music. Well after my smoke session I tried to roll my windows down and see them bytches not working, so I try and turn on the car and my shyt not turning on and then I see I had left the turning signal on the whole time and my shyt drained :patrice: Now I'm plotting on my next move , I would like call my grandma or another family member and tell them I need a boost but this not the first time I then let my car battery die while getting high in there and they going to bytch. Is there any consequences for letting my shyt sit dead for like a week or two?

Call a tow truck and have 'em come charge your chit up with a jumpbox.

Should be like $30 or something...

Letting the car sit won't hurt it but theres no real reason to as there's numerous options for getting it started outside of friends and family, also the music will kill the battery long before a turn signal will. Anytime the engine is not on the alternator is not generating current to recharge your battery, so any used electricity while the car is off is a drain on the battery that cant be recharged until the car has ran long enough for the alternator to refill it, however unless your battery is :flabbynsick: you should be able to sit and listen to music with your blinker on for quite some time without shyt dying. Buy a jumpbox from wal-mart jump your shyt and return the jumpbox (or keep it if this is a habit), while you're returning it have your battery tested because its probably shyt.

Also cause I'm def not doing anything about the battery today, will my shyt be in worst condition if I go back to my car and listen to music?

You'll just drain the battery more, the more power you use the less you have when its time to jump the car, meaning you may have a harder time getting it to start. Also if it dies completely all of your settings will reset, i.e. clock, radio presets, gps settings, contacts lists etc. If its a honda or acura with the stock radio theres a good chance it will lock the stereo and require a pin to unlock, if its a toyota or lexus it may have an electronic throttle positioning sensor which means when you restart the car it has to relearn itself and will have a rough idle and stall for a few minutes. But for the most part it would be fairly harmless to anything on the car but the battery.

How much does one of these cost cause I run into the problem of draining my battery a lot, and If I didn't need to call people for a jump I'd be so straight :whoo:

What are you doing to kill your battery frequently, and how old is that battery? It may be time to get a new one.
