The 1st amendment clearly states that the government cannot making any law prohibiting the free exercise of an established religion.

America was literally founded by people who were persecuted due to their religious beliefs.

Tell me how banning a group of people from entering your country because of their religion is constitutional or would pass in congress.

Tell me how it would even be practical?

How do you prove someone's religious beliefs?

Or do you plan to ban people from particular countries?

How about the homegrown terrorists?

Will this policy not further alienate Muslims and allow them to be more easily radicalised?

The whole idea is completely retarded; if you look at history in general you would realise that persecuting a religious demographic only makes them become disenfranchised

Look up Bismarck's Kulturkampf and his policy against Catholics who were seen as terrorists in the 19th century, his repressive policy only proved to radicalise the moderates :francis:

Banning Muslims makes no sense based on their reasoning because most of these publicized terrorists were either born or raised here so immigration is a moot point.

The American hegemony in those regions spends billions of tax payers dollars instead of fixing issues in the US. Much like the military industrial complex in the US which plays a part in why kids from religious minorities feel alienated enough to join them.
or you could just not...join isis? :francis:

You're not making any type of a reasonable argument at all and you're trying to play it off in a "the government is bad so it doesn't matter anyway" fashion

You're saying that because "the powers that be" (incredibly vague) don't give a shyt about the constitution (which is somewhat true, however they don't openly undermine it, it's more subtle abuses of the 4th and the 8th in particular) it's justified that they should ban Muslims?

Basically your argument is condensed to: everybody does bad things, why don't we endorse some more bad things :comeon:

And also please tell me where I said the constitution should protect Terrorists and not AAs?

I'm not denying the systematic racism that's present in America, however the Constitution can and has been interpreted in ways to defend the civil liberties of the people.

The constitution is fundamental to legal justice and appeal processes whether you think so or not, lawyers like Thurgood Marshall have helped the Black movement with citing it to win cases that have set precedents which affect your life on a daily basis

It makes no sense: it's impractical, it's unconstitutional, it's not going to be very useful either, what would stop a Jihadist about lying about their religion? How does a person even determine someone's religious beliefs?

It's just a feel good tactic for simple minded people, what they don't realise is it's dangerous as it sets a precedent for the government to start EXPLICITLY persecuting groups of people; no more sneaky drug laws, they're just gonna start coming back for black people outright next. :francis:

At what point does the US constituon protect Black's from racist law enforcement, racist landlords and racist human resource managers..they make their own rules and back each other know the process. you can't even get a conviction for Black person murdered you pigs on tape. I thought the constitution guaranteed we are all equal before law.
