In the 'streets':leostare:

Obviously it's sort of a big deal in some cases, but what is actually considered snitching?

Is it just telling someone of higher authority that somebody did something bad?

Or is it just telling in general? I always thought it was as simple as calling the law and all that shyt but after reading a couple posts in the booth, I'm not precise on what is and what isn't considered...

Meek is street but he technically snitched on Drake

Meek is street BUT he be on IG/Twitter writing in his emotions

Meek is street BUT was quick to back down from a rap battle

Meek is street BUT makes ballads with RNB singers

aint this a form of snitchin' fif :francis:

dont let Ross bring those 2002 50 Cent mixtapes to court

Ross sounded garbage on that too btw

Just clear this up for me brehs

:francis:Pretty simple. If you with the shyts, 99% of circumstances should see your mouth shut. I don't care for the "no snitching" bullshyt myself, but if

you get caught up doing some illegal ish, do your time like a man. Snitches be the ones telling everybody elses business to escape their punishment.

Civilians?:ufdup:Tell on anybody and everybody. You ain't out there hurting folks, tell on them hoes.

IMO it is running to an "authority figure" and telling on someone. This doesn't apply in, say, a sports setting, but when it comes to other areas of life, I think it does. I'm not a fan of the "civilian" distinction in this case either. I don't necessarily apply this to, for example, a witness to a murder coming forth and saying something, etc., though.
