IDK how things are in Canada but in the USA the MeToo thing traumatized a lot of dudes, where ridiculous or not social media algorithms had teens thinking they aren't just going to get rejected they are going to catch a case + be shamed by the entire internet due to video or screenshots of simping going viral.
