Folks are giving the solution,

Get over rejection and realize it's part of the game. You telling me Prom is gonna be an empty stadium?

Cameras are everywhere 24/7.
Rejection is a matter of going 2/45

How you gone be selective?
It’s not the rejection they’re afraid of, it’s the public shaming and possible slandering.

All it takes is one out-of-context clip with a false caption, and your whole reputation can get destroyed. Imagine somebody recording you just talking to a woman, then spreading it around with a caption saying she’s underage or something crazy like that.

They can be more selective by approaching girls they know; girls that have indicated interest instead of random strangers.

You have a fundamental inability to understand the problem. You have read the article and all the posts in here and have come to the conclusion that fear of rejection is the problem. It is not.

The problem is one of public embarrassment and loss of control. Fear of public embarrassment and fear of rejection are not one and the same.

The example I gave of me sucking on a girls t*ts in the back of the bus. Was she afraid of people seeing what we were doing…….no, people saw us with no problem. Now, would she have been ok if someone else was filming and then shared the video with everyone at school, hell the fukk naw.

The fear of public embarrassment by their peers AND losing control of said content is what is driving this behavior.

Dudes was publicly embarrassed back then too, though not on the same scale, so it's really nothing new.

Besides that, we don't know how wide spread this is because none of us are in highschool and it's only one article pointing it out. As far as I'm concerned, there's still thousands of prom pictures being posted every year, which mean the younger generation men are still approaching.

You aren't saying anything new, dudes was public shamed back then too, just now as much because it wasn't recorded.

Like I already said before, there's thousands of prom pictures being posted every year, so it's not some epidemic y'all make it to be.

What’s the difference between a woman at a social interaction vs a random attractive woman walking down the street?
the woman at a social interaction is engaging in an activity that the man shares something in common (painting, run club, book club, etc) which allows for the connection to be natural.

a lot of you posters underestimate and ignore stories brehs are saying about women being weirdos recording you and blowing an interaction out of proportion— which causes young men to back off.

Again, a vast majority of men aren't clowning you over a failed rejection. Maybe if they're incels. Most dudes will give you props for trying. Y'all must've never had any male friends or older uncles.

I'll approach a broad in public and let it get posted online, I don't give a single fuk.
It's not dudes that were the issue. Even if you crashed and burned; you'd still get props from them. Its the girls.

High school was a closed environment. You basically become toxic to the entire female student body if you go viral like this.

And girls had weird hierarchies that prevened them from acting independently. From what I recall , it was to the point where even if a girl liked you , but you were persona non grata, then all the other girls would tear her apart. Anyone who didn't tear her apart would also be torn apart.

I swear highschool girls were engaged in a weird, psychological, 1980s cold war conflict with each other, with various factions and allegiances like an episode of "The Americans". :mjlol:

Unless you could immediately get to one of the mid year transfer students, your dating career would be over if you went viral for a rejection.

Even then women don’t really reject men like that nowadays..they will politely take your phone number and social media and then ghost

20 years ago rejection was in your face

“Boy get your lame ass out of here “

But them men 20 years ago didn’t really care..they just move to the next women lol
Back in my day I was told "talk to the hand" "I got a man" "boy bye" etc etc
For like 30 seconds I'd be like dammm...
then I'd go holler at some other fly chick and eventually get some play and the one that rejected me was completely forgotten
Except my rejections weren't shared on social media and live on forever as a meme

A lot of oldheads here as usual missing the point to shyt on gen z

I was in high school before tik tok blew up. But even, then asking out someone would get group chats and snapchat buzzing, rumors spreading and shyt. You werent safe.

Reality is people like clowning men for getting rejected. Many women get an ego boost rejecting men, and many men feel better about themselves seeing another man get rejected
No lie I literally had this same convo with my homeboy last night about a dude in his grade he remembered getting clowned for tryna hit a girl that wasn't even like that fr lmfao but the whole school had screenshots of texts, the whole nine. We graduated high school within the last ten years, for reference. But the coli is filled with old heads who just wanna down the younger gen, ironically just like their old heads did to them.
