Some nikkaz is thugs and some nikkaz is bytch

RIP Half-A-Mill, one of the most underrated rappers of the mid to late 90s. I really didn't think he'd blow up huge but I thought he could have a Cormega type career, where he'd be an unsung hero for street/underground rap heads. So many dope records he made.

fukk happen to him? He got murked or something?
He died in almost exactly 10 years ago to the date. One gunshot to the head in his apartment. Most people think it was a suicide, but no official information was ever released.

You should try to find the Documentary they did on his life called "Player Hating: A Love Story" Maggie Hadleigh-West documented his life living in the Projects while he was about to release his debut album. It's really dope. He had a lot of tragedy. In the documentary one of his best friends ends up stabbing his cousin to death

Here's the trailer

I got to see it when it was in theaters here and talk to the director for a few minutes.
The footage was crazy, and maybe it was the way it was edited or just my sense but he was surrounded by snakes.
I asked her if AZ had the rights to his music and she said it was company that doesn't really deal with music so they're just sitting on what they have.
Everyone I had talked to about him over the years didn't feel like he killed himself but who knows, he went through a lot.
There were and are a lot of wild crews here especially when he passed so maybe that's why it's quite.

Just my take
