Its just something primal about it. Animals are probably way more scared when they see a human with a big sharp stick than they are when they see a gun. Something about that shyt is just way more fear inducing. I guess cause it feels like, if this person wants me they have to run and be very close to me. Idk it feels way more like you are prey with a machete but a gun is just "im gonna die I guess" not saying its not scary but you know.


I've never had a knife pulled on me, but I had a gun put in my face and I watched someone get their throat slit in the Walmart parking lot one night. I've only shaken off the gun shyt but I still have nightmares about that man I saw dying by a knife
