Somebody give me an honest opinion on Ryse

Since the next gen hype has died down a little, somebody tell me is Ryse really as garbage as early reviews were saying, or is it repetitive, yet fun? Im tired of 2k, BF4, and KI already

It's a good game. It's short and doesn't have much to do outside of combat. But the campaign will take you on a wild ride and the graphics/presentation is the best I've seen in a game.

I wasn't disappointed in my $60 purchase

honestly not worth $60 wait for a price drop.Its not as bad as those reviews graphically its jaw dropping.Videos don't do it justice you just have to see it on your tv.Combat can be repetitive the executions more than make up for it tho

I liked it. the combat was better than I thought and mastering it is another story. if this had been a 40 dollar digital only game they would have eaten quite well.

I hear that practically all the games except Dead Rising 3 are only 5-6 hours though!


A few of my boys have it, they say it's dope. I've actually watched them play it and played it myself. It's pretty fun.

Sidenote.....

Repetitive?? What game isn't repetitive?? Nothing is more repetitive than racing games and fighting games but yet no one uses that term to knock them

Rent, wait for the price drop, or just wait for the sequel. Pretty on the presentation a little lacking in the variety of combat. Cool enough to just throw on and play for a little bit, but I always find myself hopping back into BF4 mutli.

Can't wait to see where they go with a follow-up though.

For those saying to rent it. I'd say you are better off buying it now then trading it back in. I got $40 back for it.

Cop it and trade it in. you can beat it in about 4 hours. Kill 2 birds with one stone (play ryse and beat it, then get another game in the process)
