I don't think its recency bias when I say that Unlearning Vol. 1 is probably his best project.

Listening to Cats & Dogs again because of this thread, and it hasn't aged well musically.

I'll probably listen to Weather or Not later this week to give that another spin, but just looking at the tracklist, there are more songs that I like on that than on C&D.

Listen to Unlearning IMO.

Shyt, Lord Steppington with Alchemist might be his 2nd or 3rd best project, depending on how the Weather or Not re-listen goes. They go by Step Brothers (Alch & Ev)

Some of the production on C&D sounds a bit dated, even more than some of his earlier albums. But lyrically it's still IMO where he really stepped it up and became a great rhymer, and I've got a lot of great memories with that album. Unlearning definitely sounds the most modern. Low key Layover is maybe my favorite of the Weather series, and Weatherman is classic and kicked off his solo career.
