all I know is Dr York is an alleged pedo and pretty much in jail forever. I tried looking up info about them but it seems all over the place, also looks like Dr York had 2-3 other orgs before the Nuwabain stuff. I've seen some call him a agent and a hustle. Yeah I saw that, then I read he said after was he was "Jesus" and the Hon Elijah Muhammad was his "John the baptist"

I made this thread because Yorks teachings were all over the place and looks to change and not be concurrent where NOI and other groups have pretty straight forward teachings so it's fairly simple to get the gist of their movements. I'm not here to bash him just trying to see what exactly he was about, I see more people speaking bad about him than good.

mad random but sometimes on sunday's I go to this hare krishna temple in richmond hill after their services for a free vegetarian meal (usually donate like 5 bucks though) and last time I went there were like 5 ex yorkites there

Yea, like at the end of the day every black movement has the underlying teachings of 1.Black people are being oppressed by Whites, 2Blacks were robbed of their knowledge of self, 3.Only Blacks can solve their own issues, once they abandon the devilish lifestyle of their oppressor, after that cats implement "themes" ie.Islam,KEmet,Judaism,UFO,etc to "set their movement apart". I think people are drawn to all of these leaders for the 1-3 teachings I mentioned above and accept that the extra "themes" is just what comes with the territory. For example, look at how when Elijah Muhammad died his son was able to take and convert everyone (majority) into Orthodox Islam, wouldn't those who made the exodus object going against the teachings of Elijah Muhammad (like those who decided to follow Farrakhan)? I think the Black of the word has been destroyed and broken down so much that they will gravitate to ANYONE who brings them to their feet even if they say "Black Man needs to be self sufficient, oh yea French Toast is a sign from Allah and UFOs"
