I can't think of an MVP since Steve Nash (who didn't deserve his) that is so terrible on defense :mjlol:

Out here looking like a 10 year old midget who just runs down the court and jacks up 3s :mjlol:

Be named MVP but only affect the game through scoring brehs

Delly?

And where was he when Kyrie played game 1? :mjpls:

Since when was Delly a good enough player where it mattered who guarded him? He's been on him plenty in this series

They did hide Curry in the Irving matchup, but teams do this all the time when they want to conserve the energy of their best perimeter player and more importantly put a much better defender on a key offensive threat. You act as though you've never seen a team do that with a MVP player before but all you have to do is look as recently as last season with Kevin Durant

If hes not hitting shots hes not effecting the game in any other way..he's a great shooter not player

Lord have mercy

But who is he guarding in crunch-time? :mjpls:

The answer is the worst offensive player. Because he is the worst defensive player on the court. Which is sad for a "MVP".

One of the guards on the opposing team. Between Delly and Shump it doesn't matter, neither are much more than spot up shooters

I don't think being the worst defender on one of the best defenses of this era is sad. The fact that he receives the most minutes on the team that ranked first in defensive efficiency by a significant margin should tell you that he isn't as much of a liability as you make it seem. In reality he helps them as a good team defender who has a knack for forcing turnovers because of his great anticipation and tries to compensate for poor lateral agility with good footwork and the BBIQ of knowing where his help is so he can steer the ball handler into the teeth of the defense
