a crowd of over 110k people but our legends in hip hop get DISRESPECTED with ease once they're over 40. Every genre respects their legends except hip hop and it's been fukking with me for years now Why is it that every genre except hip hop respects their legends and being an "Old head" is considered being "Washed"?? And the crazy thing about is that the older rappers are putting out quality projects as oppose to the new generation. We're in a great year where you got guys like Common and pete rock, LL Cool J and Q-Tip, Nas and Preemo are all about to put out great albums like it's 94 again. nothing but QUALITY coming out from them. Is there something missing where the older rappers can't bridge the gap between the younger generation the way these country singers do or what's missing?
