As much as he's crossed over and become the "safe" rapper for a lot of mainstream America, I don't see a lot of rappers reaching out to feature him on their tracks. He's had people on his albums (YG, Premo and KRS-One are apparently going to be on his new album), but I don't think I've ever heard him on another rapper's track unless I've missed something ... :jbhmmm:

Even when Em blew up in the late 90s, you saw him popping up on other people's tracks (although to be fair, he was associated with Dr. Dre, which probably helped), and he was affiliated with the Outsidaz before he blew ...

Even Iggy Azalea - who, like Macklemore, is bashed for being a bad rapper and taking shine away from more deserving artists - got featured on tracks by T.I. (who had a business interest in her, but I digress), J-Lo and Ariana Grande ...

So why do you think people tend to avoid having Macklemore on their records? :patrice:

By the way, his new song Spoons is TURRBLE :francis:

I don't want to link it because it's that bad (and it's what inspired this thread)
