This isn't a tattle tale thread just an open concern. With this auto youtube embed no matter if you click the link or not you're forced to see a still of the video. In Higher Learning there's a thread about Syria in which a link was posted depicting a young boy whose jaw was shot off. Obviously its not the fault of the poster the video is on the web for everyone to see, but the stillshot of the video is very gruesome and not the kind of thing that should automatically be displayed for everyone to see. Maybe there's something ya'll can do to regulate these links? Or is it possible for users to turn auto-embed off? I know its the convenient thing to have the video displayed here but certain content I dont think should be displayed unless you decide you want to see it. In hindsight I guess the poster should've used the "spoil" feature, but thats about all I can think of
