So, probably like a lot of people, I figured rates would start to drop when American kids couldn't afford to go any more. I'm in KC and our suburbs have a HUGE influx of Indians (the country). These are upper class people from that country who have the money to send their kids over here to get educated.
So, I started thinking about all the foreign kids in college when I went to school and how most of the people who graduated in my class in computer science were foreign. I started noticing how many indians are buying $300K houses in the wealthiest suburbs in town (and acting like dropping that much aint shyt
).
Colleges in the US are never going to drop rates! They'll just get visas for more kids from China or India or Saudi Arabia or whatever "new money" country shows up on the map. Meanwhile, we all are goign to get their taxes raised to help fund all of these colleges for the "common good."
