Something strange I noticed about NXT:UK....

They have absolutely NO comedy acts or comedic skits on their show PERIOD. They remind me of the old NWA/WCW where it was presented in a “real, athletic competition” way. Probably why I check for it tha most out of all of WWE’s brands.

I mean to be fair, UK wrestling is pretty much NWA/WCW with more emphasis on the whole "catch can" European shoot style of wrestling. Hell, before PROGRESS became WWE's foot stool, they were more focus on athletic strong style of wrestling, than the comical stuff.

WWE can never go that route do to their stance with entertainment, rather than wrestling. Hence why I think the Fox deal will murder their promotion due to the simple fact that they don't represent a "sports" like promotion. Hell, MLW got it right but sadly they are not mentioned with promotions like Impact or even AEW
