Songs that are generic but you like them anyway

Generic can be a subjective term, but what songs in your opinion are pretty run-of-the-mill, nothing special about them, but they're good to you?

I have two examples:



- Bun with that "repeat the last word/syllable at the end of each bar" flow
- a T-Pain chorus after the wind had somewhat left his sails
- a song called Trillionaire on an album called Trill O.G.

And yet I tend to have this song on repeat a lot



Song is very straightforward - Slim taking out some dudes who robbed him

- no sample
- simple chorus
- Slim just plows through the thing

Maybe the fact that the song is so simple is what makes me like it

yea pretty much.

all the mustard tracks unapologetically sound similar too, but theyre addictive. the other producers had the best beats tho, and are getting no shine for it.
