Off principle, if you're already in the market of getting a new TV, a Sony one in particular at that, and you could use a second one, then why the hell not take this deal. This is an easy lay up if you were trying to get a Sony for the living room and got a spare room or kids room that could also use a TV in it. A no brainer really. To be sure, you're definitely not getting any of their top of the line TVs for free in such a deal, but it should be solid enough for either of those above reasons, easily.

Sony makes some of the best TVs (will probably be my next tv, again) so if you were already planning to buy a tv i don’t really see why not, unless you can find a Bravia 8 on sale for 600 less, which might be possible.

you might secretly be paying for the 2nd tv on a marked up sony.

It's $4000. That's not a deal.

You can get a 65" LG OLED for $2500. What does the Bravia 2 do better to make it worth $1500 more?

Edit: I see the Bravia 8 II is competing with the G5. Since that's the case, I'd say it's a deal then.

I never clicked the link to see what the price was. I wouldn't buy a tv for 4k that wasn't over 80". Even then...

My last tv purchase awas a 77" LG C1 that I got for 2800 sale at the time.
