This is normal across all internet forums. There will always be trolls and fanboys stirring shyt up. You just have to ignore it. Going on a diatribe against trolls is exactly what they want you to do. I used to try and have meaningfull convo's on here but I wasted lots of time because I'd end up arguing for 4 pages straight with cats that just wanted to hear themselves talk or w/e.
The occasional trolling is funny but threads like this is why the arcadium is quickly becoming a joke. You can't have a decent conversation about video games without negs flying left and right and corny name calling. PS4 is your thing, good for you. XBox One is your thing, good for you. Nintendo is your thing, good for you. We get it. You have your favorite system and so does everyone else. But threads getting one starred and people getting negged just because you are talking about a game that isn't available on the console YOU like is childish. The arcadium is less about video games and more about why you are stupid for liking your favorite system. Like I said, it's funny every now and then, but do it too often and it gets corny real quick.
This is true, but not all forums have wildly abused rep systems and threads repeating as much as on the coli. Your point is 100% valid though.
The whole rep system and thread repeating is just a coli thing. It kind of stands out?? Idk. I don't tend to make a big fuss about it because honestly you can just not enter a thread or ignore a user although that may not be very effective if the user is adept at getting others to derail threads. I've seen entire threads get side tracked by one drive by comment.
