Yes, less competition is great for the industry... Sony Computer Entertainment ain't going nowhere neither is Nintendo or the Xbox division no matter how bad stans want it.

It won't be less..... Just making room for that showdown we all really want.... :jawalrus:

Microsoft vs Apple vs Nintendo. :whew:

and it's a bit TOO late to START offering 7"-8" tablets now, they should have been first to markert with those types of devices 2 years ago. They invested heavily into e-Ink and e-book readers and that shyt went nowhere. Now they're playing catchup to Google, Samsung, and Apple. Therein lies their problem.
:wtf: You do realize Sony's 10-inch Xperia Z Android Tablet has done well for them? I don't see why they couldn't do a 7-inch or 8-inch tablet.

In fact, Sony is releasing a Wi-Fi Only version of their 6.4-inch Xperia Z Ultra phablet. (http://www.theverge.com/2014/1/21/5332894/sony-xperia-z-ultra-wi-fi-only-model-announced). So I guess that will be Sony's defacto 7-inch tablet.
