Read the title of this thread and tell me what it says

The reality is its PR speak from an executive that has created a catagory called entertainment that is uniquely composed of sectors his business exist in concurrently and cites that as the reason they are the leader in the category while in reality multiple sectors he used his company isn't the leader in.

Shueisha owns a lot of manga properties but they aren’t actually making a ton of money from anime

The two biggest selling anime movies this year (and all time) are demon slayer and chainsaw man, both through sony

They are probably the only company that dabbles in all these categories, but they are not the leader in any one category.

It’s just a Sony exec claiming Sony is great. That’s what he’s supposed to do.

He just did a custom carve out of the sectors of his company and says they're the leader in entertainment because they do business in all those categories as a single company as if that's the limit of entertainment.

I guess things like theme parks and cruises don't count as entertainment because that's not Sony's thing.
