Gamestop probably doesn't have any profit margins on new games, because you can get new games anywhere. If you want to go the brick and mortar route for used games though they tend to be the only place in town. I would bet an enormous part, probably 85 % or greater, if their profit margin is used games.


But...what people are missing here...is that Sony IS NOT ENFORCING DRM ON THEIR GAMES...that is left up to the 3rd party publishers...so if the Capcoms, Rockstars, Bethesdas of the world want to put DRM on PS4 games they can...Sony just won't have anything to do with it...

So it is entirely possible for all 3rd party PS4 games to have DRM, just like the Xbox1

From a business perspective it does not make sense, as the developer would have to eat whatever cost is associated with the DRM themselves, but then again DRM never really made sense to me in the first place, but plenty of PC games have it...so

I don't know why nikkas is celebrating GameStop either but ps4 games can be sold on Craigslist eBay amazon marketplace or to a nikka at work without having to be on my friends list for 30 days.
