do them sonys have burn-in problems? im a big sammy guy but i dont have an OLED yet
That's a risk for all OLED. Same thing with brightness. OLEDs are best for if you have a basement theatre where you can keep the room dark.

MicroLED is still probably at least 5 years away, but its the true successor to LED. It has all the strengths of OLED, none of the weaknesses.

Mini-LED is probably the most reliable display tech you can get right now.

It's a QD-OLED
So LG oled panel + Samsung Quantum dot technology + Sony imaging processing
= literally the greatest TV ever produced
Only downside is it costs like 6k
It'll take a few years to get it into that 2-3k sweetspot for high end tvs

Samsung own QD-OLED is only 3k and the second best looking TV right now

MicroLED is available right now. If you have $100,000

Nope. Samsung QD-OLED + Sony image processing. The A90K, A85K & the A80 use the LG panel. The A95 uses the Samsung panel.

Samsung does not make their own OLED panels. They buy their panels from LG...
They just add their quantum dot technology to the panel to make a QD-OLED

Anybody know if you can trade in tvs to upgrade?

From what I've read, you get the best of worlds. Playing in a bright room, having more brightness, and keep those deep blacks. Unless I'm wrong and you still need to be in a dark room for deep blacks?

Apparently the reflective filter to diffuse glare makes Black's appear more grey in bright room viewing.
