People really think playstation owners stan sony 
We only loyal to the content we like. If they had been releasing all their exclusives the past two gens on xbox, i would've been playing xbox.
If there was exclusives on both consoles i wanted to play, i would own both consoles, like i did back during the very first xbox and playstation generations.
We aren't sony stans, we just stopped fukking with Xbox over the years.

This. I was a fukking Xbox fan from 2007~2010. I bought a PS3 because of the exclusive software and Xbox starting to fall off with their stuff. I don't care about "Sony" as so much I care about their content. "Playstation" is just the medium that allows me to play games that aren't anywhere else and has been that way for years.People really think playstation owners stan sony

Xbox fans conversely, are fans of the actual company, with them caring and being passionate about the guys behind it like Phil Spencer and others. You hardly hear "Sony stans" talking about CEOs and others. "Sony stans" stan games/developers while Xbox fans stan Microsoft and everything under that umbrella.

Just many others I thought Xbox was great with content but when the X1 dropped I didn’t even buy it because they didn’t have anything i really wanted and Sony did

Yep, the same reason i don't play nintendo anymore when i used to love that console as a kid. They don't make games i like. simple as that.
These consoles spend every generation trying to boost their specs. thinking that will sell the console. All it does is increase the development cycle for game makers. resulting in fewer games released. They'd low key be better off extending each generation of console than rushing into a new one
