Sony still declines crossplay feature

With the recent Minecraft title Sony has declined crossplay with Xbox and Switch. This is like the third or fourth title that they declined to implement the feature. What is it with PSN that they are not interested????

Xbox has crossplay with Nintendo Switch and PC.
