This is probably referring to GAAS and online games. The exclusives will continue to go to PC and I think that's the extent Sony is willing to go otherwise there would be no exclusives to sell consoles. Almost all gamers game on consoles or on the go.

Sony is technically the only console outchea now that Microsoft has folded. At this Point when you say console your referring to a PlayStation.

There is still the switch 2, that can take sales away assuming their system selling exclusives are released on the switch 2, though I don't believe that will occur. Sony applies that strategy and the ps6 will definitely not sell well, especially with a $700 or beyond price tag. The ps6 could be that price yet I don't believe Sony would price the ps6 at that price after what occurred with the ps3 at $600. Sales for the ps5 would also slow down. Whether or not there will be another xbox remains to be seen though releasing their system selling exclusives on that system would also contribute to playstation sales slowing down. This seems to be Sony expanding their strategy of putting their GAAS and online games on other platforms as stated before. Their exclusives will continue to release on PC though I expect the current strategy of timed exclusivity of weeks to years to continue.

The Switch 2 can take some of the casual base but Sony has more hardcore gamers that play games consistently and locked in. The Switch 2’s online capabilities still don’t match Sony’s. And tbh it’s more simplier getting online on Console than PC. So Sony will dominate because they are the only option strictly for stationary gaming. As long as Sony consoles are the cheaper option over PC they will be fine. Especially with PC gpu’s skyrocketing in price.
