Tony Parker's play this season (especially as of late) has been alarming. I don't buy that he's pacing himself for the postseason either. In the 11 games since the new year, he's averaging 11 points & 3.6 assists on 40.9% from the field. He attempted a total of 16 FTs in the span of those games. His averages in both points (14.4) & assists (4.7) haven't been this low since his rookie season. His PER & ORtg have only been lower in his rookie year and he's getting to the line at the lowest rate of his career. I'm not naive enough to say the Spurs are finished, but if this trend continues I really don't see how they could go far in the playoffs. Keep in mind he started playing professionally in France when he was 16 years old. We all assumed Duncan would be the first, but Tony Parker could be the first player of the Spurs nucleus to wear down
