...last Friday, I finally gave in and played GKMC for the 1st time.

I ran that joint back 2 times.

The voice kept me at bay for a while, ever since "Hi Power", but now, that shyt is unique, plus, dude got bars with substance.

These are the type of albums that should be at the forefront of hip hop.

And he lettin GKMC breathe.

Don't rush K.Dot, we still eatin:blessed:

This has what most of the albums released nowadays lack. Cohesiveness.

Step yall shyt up, so-called emcees.

If all you wanna make is club music, please stick to droppin singles. And dont get it twisted, I love club music.

I only liked about half of "Section.80" because like you said, the voice is off-putting.

But then I got to GKMC and fell in love, quickly became one of my favorite albums ever. So I gotta revisit S.80 to see if I can get into it -- I'm sure I'll grow to love that, too.

I was/still am the same way with S.80. Theres like 8-10 great songs but the rest just kinda fall flat and aren't quite there and some of em just straight up ass. No make up & Tammy's Song :scusthov:. I enjoy the highlights tho but still skipping just short of half of it. Still a good project and it was a solid base for Kendrick to grow off of

but :wow: GKMC

Wasn't seriously lookin out for GKMC like that but :wow: shyt exceeded my expectations

yeah, I love his voice, it's so unique, reminds me of Andre 3000 a lil bit.

I think this is why I love kendrick so much, it's one of my favorite voices in hip hop with Pac, Andre 3000 and Nas

His voice sets helps set him apart I believe. It's unique and you always know when Kendrick's part comes on during a posse track.
